(Grand Forks, N.D.) Edgewood Healthcare is excited to announce the launch of its first Minnesota-based CaringEdge office, located at the Edgewood Assisted Living and Memory Care community in Blaine, Minnesota; this community opened in 2013 and was the first Edgewood senior living location in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area. Blaine will again serve as a first location for Edgewood, and a blueprint for future CaringEdge offices across their Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana and Wyoming markets.

Edgewood Healthcare launched their new CaringEdge division as an opportunity to offer a wider continuum of in-house care and services to their residents as well as to customers in the surrounding Blaine community and greater metro area. As a company, the CaringEdge division offers home health services, to include skilled nursing and certified nursing assistant services, therapy services to include physical, occupational and speech as well as hospice services. The Blaine office is currently launching therapy services and will look to add home health and hospice in the future.

“Having these additional on-site programs means that our residents can receive therapy services conveniently and more frequently, enabling quicker recovery from illness or injury,” said Russ Kubik, President of Edgewood Healthcare. “Additionally, the services we can provide through CaringEdge are covered by Medicare and other commercial insurance plans; it’s a win for our residents and other local customers,” continued Kubik.

CaringEdge Outpatient Therapy Services in Blaine will be provided by Carisa Hillman, OT and Director of Outpatient Therapy Services, as well as Allison Donlan, PT, DPT. For additional information in the Blaine area, please contact Carisa at 1-833-238-8026.
